In September 2018, RuVASA signed a memorandum of agreement with SAVA -CVC (South African Veterinary Association Community Veterinary Clinics) for the purpose of providing structured and monitored primary animal health care to production animals from disadvantaged communities as well as education to subsistence farmers.

SAVA-CVC will collect and distribute donated money on behalf of RuVASA from a designated RuVASA CVC fund.  RuVASA donations will be used for production animal projects only (cattle, sheep and goats) after pre-authorisation of the projects by the RuVASA central committee and board of directors.

The RuVASA-CVC shares knowledge and resources and provides guidance and support to RuVASA veterinarians wishing to do community work in their area.
